Rev limiter - Two-step maximum permitted.Shifter - Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automated shifters, and electrical shifters permitted.Line-loc - Dual line-loc. Wiring must consist of a continuous wire from the power source to the switch and a single continuous wire from the switch to the line-loc(s) solenoid(s).One splice is permitted from the two-step to the solenoid (i.e., between the switch and the solenoid). Wiring must consist of a single continuous wire from the power source to a switch and a single continuous wire from the switch to the transbrake. Tachometers - Playback and shift light permitted.Section of the 2009 NHRA Rulebook with the following exceptions: Infrared lasers, retinal scan, fingerprint, light source, or any other non-mechanical types are prohibited. Switches & Buttons – All switches and/or buttons must be standard mechanical connection type.Two-steps, rev limiters, or any other rpm limiting devices legal unto themselves but altered or installed so as to function as a down track rpm controller are prohibited. Starting line or “high-side” rev-limiters permitted. Throttle Control – Permitted per NHRA Rulebook.Line-Loc – Four wheel line-loc permitted.All wiring must be clearly identifiable to inspector. One Box/device only attached to transbrake and/or throttle timer only.
